Blog 14: Dear Santa

Dear Santa

I have been a really good boy this year so I should get lots and lots of presents. I only stole from the cookie jar once. Noah said you are not real but he’s just silly. Tell your reindeer to poop on his roof to show him you are real. Now to get down to business. I would like a very pretty unicorn but I want a real one this year not a poopy fake one. I would also like a magical rainbow ferry special edition. Well while you are at it I would also like Chinese Democracy the new Guns and Roses CD. Maybe you could listen to it in your magical slay while you are flying it over to my house. I will bake you extra special cookies all by myself this year. I forget do you like peanut butter flavored cookies? This year I am also going to make some extra special cool aide for you because you must get really tired of milk. I think you should give Noah lots coal and spaghetti noodles this year because he has been very naughty and he also does not believe in you. I think you should get Jeremiah a unicorn too so we can be unicorn buddies without Noah. Oh and I want my unicorn to be able to fly like your reindeer. I also want it to be like a ferocious lion so it can protect me from meanies and so we can go hunt kangaroos together. Talk to you later.

Love,

Jacob

Blog 13: Wow, That Was One Big Turkey

Blog 13: Wow, That Was One Big Turkey

I had a pretty good Thanksgiving this year. The first one I went to was with my dad, step mom, and her family. There was a quadrillion people there but there was also tons of food. We stayed there all Thanksgiving day. We also did lots of other fun stuff with our step cousins Curt, Corey, and Nicholas. We played lots of video games (mostly Halo), played ping pong, had pillow wars, played extreme bingo, and did lots of other fun things. They had all the food imaginable like two types of turkey ( two big pots full of it), a huge pot of ham, mashed potatoes, cheesy potatoes, green been casserole, and that’s just the beginning of what was there. Oh yes and of coarse desert which was pumpkin pie, Reese’s cookies, and some other pie I didn’t know what it was. All the food was really yummy and delicious. We had lots of fun there. We were going to spend the night but I changed my mind on the account we would have to get up at like four to go shopping. Then that Saturday we had Thanksgiving at my grandma’s with my moms side of the family. We had a lot more people there than usual too. There was Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Anita, Uncle David, Emma, Grant, Mom, Joel, Kevin, Jenna, Jessica and her boyfriend, Justine and her boyfriend, Christine and lastly me. We had all kinds of good food there too and played ping pong and watched mythbusters. I had a really good Thanksgiving.

Blog 12: Spontaneous Writing Booth

Blog 12: Spontaneous Writing Booth

For today one of the choices to ask the person next to us what to write about today. I asked Noah but he is a fun sucker so he said I don’t know. So then I asked Ashley and she said peanut butter. I love peanut butter. It is very sweet and makes you thirsty. I like to eat it with chocolate syrup and milk. Sometimes I will just eat it out of the jar because it is so yummy. My brother is allergic to it so he can not eat the stuff. I feel sorry for him. Noah likes peanut butter too. There are many ways to eat peanut butter: with jelly on bread, on toast, plain, in a reassess peanut butter cup, with celery, and many more ways. I like Jiffy peanut butter. I do not like Peter Pan peanut butter because I think it tastes gross. One time my step mom bought diet peanut butter and let me tell you from first person experience, that stuff was nasty. I also love the kind of peanut butter that comes with jelly in the jar too. That is really yummy. Peanut butter is made from peanuts. I think peanut butter is also really good with caiman also. Another thing it goes good with, of coarse , is jelly. Chocolate and peanut butter also make a good pair when it comes to taste. Most people I know love peanut butter, but I think its either you like it or hate it no in between.

Blog 11: Design Your Own Superhero Suit

Design Your Own Superhero Suit

I would make the suit out of an indestructible fireproof cloth that I would create and call special cloth number twenty two. I also put bulletproof armor on the outside of it. I would put all kinds of cool buttons that did everything from remote control my awesome car to automatically ordering me my favorite meal from Taco Bell (chalupas). I would make my suit lime green and red and bright blue because those colors would be awesome and it would be hard to miss me when I flew by with my rocket powered boots. Those colors do not represent anything but I like them. I would not have a special superhero name. I would just be Jacob. I might let Noah be my sidekick too because he is silly and I would need someone to make me laugh when I was a superhero. I would make my symbol a guitar on fire because that would be a symbol no other superhero (except maybe Eddie VanHallen) would have. I would also defiantly want a cape. I don’t know why but the cape would just complete the awesomeness of this costume. I would also want cool rocket boots so I could fly. A cool belt would be good too and it would give me a place to put more buttons on. My weakness is food because I like it to much. If I am on the way to save someone and I see a Taco Bell, whoa, that’s a hard decision.

Blog 10: Lyrical Lines

Lyrical Lines

I like tons of songs. There is no way I can choose just one song that is my favorite but the song that I chose to do for this blog entry is Tribute by the band Tenacious D. I like that band because they are funny and awesome at the same time. This song makes me laugh and at the same time it is amazing. One of the reasons it is so cool is because Tenacious D mostly uses acoustic guitar which is really cool because not many rock bands do that now. Also their lyrics are totally random and funny. I like at the beginning where the first words they say are “This is the greatest and best song in the world. Tribute.” I also like the part that goes like “So we played the first thing that came to are heads. It just so happened to be, the best song in the world. It was the best song in the world. Look into my eyes and it’s easy to see one and one make two, two and one make three, it was destiny. Once every hundred thousand years or so when the sun doth shine and the moon doth glow and the grass doth grow.” It’s totally random but they sound so serious when they sing it. Another part of the song that I like is when they sing “He asked us, be you angels? And we said nay we are but men. Rock. Ah, ah oh, oh no! This is not the greatest song in the world, this is just a tribute.” That makes absolutely no since because at the beginning of the song they said this is the greatest and best song in the world. I also like how they occasionally put old English in their lyrics. That sounds cool.

Blog 9: Mirror Image

Mirror Image

When I look in the mirror I usually see Jacob Ryun Irons but sometimes I see my cat Smore also. Sometimes I see other things too like my guitar or my closet doors. I usually like what I see except for right after I wake up. My hair is usually all crazy when I wake up and it does not like to listen to me. So when I look in the mirror and my hair is all messy I think “Oh boy that’s going to take forever to fix” or “That’s what I am going to be working on the rest of the morning.” But other than that yes I like what I see in the mirror (unless that mirror happens to be all blurry and handprintie.) I don’t know what I would change. I would not really want to change anything about my appearance. I guess I would want to make my hair be easier to make stay in the same place but other than that I could not think of anything I would want to change. I am happy with how I look now. I do not know how others see me but it is probably different than I see myself. Noah defiantly sees me differently than I see me because he is one of my good friends. My enemies would also probably see me differently than I see me. I bet my girlfriend sees me differently than I see me too. Its not just how they see me physically though, they all pry see me the same way physically, but its how they judge me as a person.

Blog 8: Rockstar Diary

Rock Star Diary

On a lonely lonesome highway, east of Omaha. You can listen to the engine moaning out its one lone song. Yeah that sounds like it would make an awesome song, but for some reason it sounds familiar. Oh well. I suppose I should stop trying to write songs and use this journal to write about my day. It started like every other good morning in are supper awesome tour bus with a hot tub and bedrooms and a big screen T.V. Then I had a concert with Rush because Neil Pert is amazing. Then I had lunch and signed all kinds of autographs for adoring fans, for a price of coarse. Then I went to an amusement park and gave a concert there and rode roller coasters. Later me and my band wrote songs. We also decided to let Noah join even though we only need a piano in a whole two songs but what ever at least he will stop bugging us (and we can make him do all the paperwork and technical stuff.) Then we went out for second lunch at the fanciest Mc Donald’s we could find. Then we had a concert with Metallica and had third lunch at Taco Bell. We liked Taco Bell so much, we decided to buy the whole franchise so we can now eat there free any time we feel like it. Then we kicked Noah out of the band because he was being mean. Then he wined a lot so we let him back in. And now we are driving to Omaha to perform another concert. That was my day.

Blog 7: School Dance

School Dance

If I could design the school dance I would make it awesome. I’d probably just hold it throughout the whole school. I’d have to buy a killer stereo system and hook it up throughout the whole school. I would have them play some actual good music like some Linkin Park, some Guns N’ Roses, some AC/DC, and maybe a little Shadows Fall and Pantera. If I could have a band there I would make Eddie Vanhallen the guitarist, Axel Rose the singer, and Neil Pert the drummer. That would be awesome (even though that would not happen in a million years). I would make the theme hick gangsters from space (even though that’s not to far off from some people here). That would be weird yet cool in a creepy way. I would have a hard time finding decorations for this theme. I would pry put fake aliens and corn all over and make some ghetto buildings out of paper. I would also paint the ceiling with planets and stars. This would take a lot of time but it would be worth it. I would have Chinese food (like crab rangoon and fortune cookies) and Power Aid for snacks and drinks. I would also have lots of chocolate. Of course this dance is completely unrealistic but you have to admit this would be fun. Also I would have my buddy Noah help me with this whole thing so who knows what other crazy ideas we would come up with.

Blog 6: Stranded

Stranded

The first thing I would do is I would sit down for a second, close my eyes, and gather my thoughts. I would do this to stay calm and to think of a way out of this. If I could remember where I came from I would try to go back to where we left from in the first place (a car, a town, a house, or where ever). If I did not remember that I would probably try to climb a tree to see if I could see them. Also if I had a cell phone or a radio I would try to contact them through those. If all else failed I would scream at the top of my lungs to see if they could hear me. If not well then all these years of watching Survivor Man and Man Vs. Wild might pay off. I would probably brought some food because very rarely do I go hiking anywhere without food. I also always bring water with me when I hike. At this time the only thoughts that are going through my head are find my friends or find my way back to civilization alive. I would also be thinking of how to find more food and water and if necessary how to build a shelter to sleep in. I would probably feel frightened and scared but also probably a little excited because that might be a little fun for me because I like all that survival type of stuff.

Blog 5: Five Senses, Minus One

Five Senses, Minus One

I thought long and hard about this during the weekend. I do not know how but this exact same topic came up during Sunday school. I would probably give up smell. Not because I do not like it or do not use it but just because it is the one I use the least and would be, I think, the easiest to live without. I would not be able to smell my favorite smells any more, like burning leaves or raspberry cobbler, but I think that would be better than not being able to see, hear, taste or feel. I would not want to lose being able to see because seeing is how I learn best and my imagination would drive me insane since I could not see anything. I would not want to lose hearing because then I could not hear music or peoples voices, plus this is another way I learn. For taste I am sorry but I just need to taste my food and what I am drinking just because. But a good fact of not being able to taste is that you would not care what you ate so you could always eat healthy. For touch it would make it hard for me to play my guitar or video games and you just could not feel anything and I think it would just be easier to live without smell. It would defiantly make life way different though without any one of these.

Blog 4: Reality TV

Reality TV

If I had to make a reality TV show I would make it about a school probably Olympia. I would have them run around and film random stuff. I would pay some kids to get in trouble all the time and do stupid stuff to make it entrusting. I would also make sure there are some good fights in the show. We would also have to make it look like the food was horrible. There would also have to be a lot of footage of Mr. Lootens driving around on his gator. There would also need to be some good food fights and some good pranks too. I guess they could film the middle school too. I would also hire that guy off of Worlds Scariest Police Videos to narrate when we need a narrator just because he is cool. I would also put my buddy Noah in it too. I would also want some footage of the school cop chasing down trouble makers and handcuffing them. Also maybe tazing them if they deserve it. I would probably cut out most of the actual learning unless something cool or funny happens then cause it would be kind of boring to watch a bunch of high schoolers sitting in a classroom learning. We would also have to video tape what the kids say when they get in trouble or get caught doing something bad because that would be funny. That would be my reality TV show if I could make one.

Entry 3:Super Powers

Super Powers
If I could have any superpower ever I would choose to be like Spider-Man. That would be cool because he has multiple powers. He can climb all over walls, shoot webs, and he is really strong. I think all these (especially the wall climbing) would be cool and useful to have. I would use my powers to climb around everywhere for fun. I would also fight crime and all that stuff. I would love tom climb really tall buildings and jump off and right before I hit the ground make a web and swing away. That would be fun. I would also just help people with my powers. I think it would also be fun when it happens to be really crowded in the hallways to just crawl on the ceiling. I would also make an awesome costume. I would make it lime green, bright red, and bright blue. That would be awesome. I would also make one that was just black so I could blend in at night so I could sneak up on criminals all stealthy and whatnot. I would also want a cool butler to help me and do all the technological stuff. I would also make Noah my sidekick just because I am nice like that. I would also help clean up the earth and stop people from littering kind of like Captain Planet. I would also want all kinds of cool gadgets kind of like Bat-Man. Oh yeah and a cool car like him.

Blog entry no.2 My Bedroom

My bedroom

For this entry I decided to write about my bedroom. It is very messy. My mom says it looks like a pig pen but I don’t really care. Whenever I try to organize it or clean it I end up not being able to find anything because it is not where I am used to it being. We have not painted it yet and I am not sure we ever will because we will be moving again in a few years. It has pink carpeting because it used to be a girls room. I also have some American flags, sings, and an ocelot pelt on my wall. I also used to have pink lights on my ceiling fan but we changed those a while back. I have all kinds of books in my room but at least one half of them are for little kids and the other half I have already read. In my room I have a bed, three dressers (I keep telling my mom I only need two but she will not listen), A really awesome chair that I got for Christmas that is my psp playing chair, and a desk and chair. I have three windows in my room. One object of value in my room is my psp. I love that thing and I play it all the time in the car and stuff. Another object of value is my psp games because without them my psp would be useless. I hope you enjoyed learning about my messy room.

Entry 1: Welcome To My Blog

Welcome to my Blog
Hi I am Jacob Ryun Irons. I am writing this blog for English 1 in Mr. Seleines class. I am a freshman in high school. I will write in this blog throughout this semester. I am a pretty slow typper so I hope I can get these done on time. I Now I will tell you a little bit about me.

Now ill write a physical description about me. I have brown hair and brown eyes. I am Caucasian. I used to have long hair but I cut it so now it’s short. I usually wear t-shirts and jeans. I also usually wear tennis shoes. My favorite t-shirt ever is a Guns n’ Roses t- shirt but I can not find it at the moment. I am not to concerned about my appearance as long as I don’t look that bad.

I like to run cross country and track. I like almost all music except for jazz. I also love to play my guitar and saxophone. My favorite rock groups are Linkin Park, Aerosmith, Guns n’ Roses, and Breaking Benjamin. I love all food but especially Chinese and Mexican food. I also love Steak ‘N Shake. My best buddy Noah is sitting right next to me typing his blog at the moment too.

My goals for this year are to pass all my classes. I hope to medal again in state in cross country before I graduate. I also hope I can get into the 15’s in cross country. I also hope to get a better job.
