Blog 9: Mirror Image

Mirror Image

When I look in the mirror I usually see Jacob Ryun Irons but sometimes I see my cat Smore also. Sometimes I see other things too like my guitar or my closet doors. I usually like what I see except for right after I wake up. My hair is usually all crazy when I wake up and it does not like to listen to me. So when I look in the mirror and my hair is all messy I think “Oh boy that’s going to take forever to fix” or “That’s what I am going to be working on the rest of the morning.” But other than that yes I like what I see in the mirror (unless that mirror happens to be all blurry and handprintie.) I don’t know what I would change. I would not really want to change anything about my appearance. I guess I would want to make my hair be easier to make stay in the same place but other than that I could not think of anything I would want to change. I am happy with how I look now. I do not know how others see me but it is probably different than I see myself. Noah defiantly sees me differently than I see me because he is one of my good friends. My enemies would also probably see me differently than I see me. I bet my girlfriend sees me differently than I see me too. Its not just how they see me physically though, they all pry see me the same way physically, but its how they judge me as a person.

Blog 8: Rockstar Diary

Rock Star Diary

On a lonely lonesome highway, east of Omaha. You can listen to the engine moaning out its one lone song. Yeah that sounds like it would make an awesome song, but for some reason it sounds familiar. Oh well. I suppose I should stop trying to write songs and use this journal to write about my day. It started like every other good morning in are supper awesome tour bus with a hot tub and bedrooms and a big screen T.V. Then I had a concert with Rush because Neil Pert is amazing. Then I had lunch and signed all kinds of autographs for adoring fans, for a price of coarse. Then I went to an amusement park and gave a concert there and rode roller coasters. Later me and my band wrote songs. We also decided to let Noah join even though we only need a piano in a whole two songs but what ever at least he will stop bugging us (and we can make him do all the paperwork and technical stuff.) Then we went out for second lunch at the fanciest Mc Donald’s we could find. Then we had a concert with Metallica and had third lunch at Taco Bell. We liked Taco Bell so much, we decided to buy the whole franchise so we can now eat there free any time we feel like it. Then we kicked Noah out of the band because he was being mean. Then he wined a lot so we let him back in. And now we are driving to Omaha to perform another concert. That was my day.

Blog 7: School Dance

School Dance

If I could design the school dance I would make it awesome. I’d probably just hold it throughout the whole school. I’d have to buy a killer stereo system and hook it up throughout the whole school. I would have them play some actual good music like some Linkin Park, some Guns N’ Roses, some AC/DC, and maybe a little Shadows Fall and Pantera. If I could have a band there I would make Eddie Vanhallen the guitarist, Axel Rose the singer, and Neil Pert the drummer. That would be awesome (even though that would not happen in a million years). I would make the theme hick gangsters from space (even though that’s not to far off from some people here). That would be weird yet cool in a creepy way. I would have a hard time finding decorations for this theme. I would pry put fake aliens and corn all over and make some ghetto buildings out of paper. I would also paint the ceiling with planets and stars. This would take a lot of time but it would be worth it. I would have Chinese food (like crab rangoon and fortune cookies) and Power Aid for snacks and drinks. I would also have lots of chocolate. Of course this dance is completely unrealistic but you have to admit this would be fun. Also I would have my buddy Noah help me with this whole thing so who knows what other crazy ideas we would come up with.

Blog 6: Stranded

Stranded

The first thing I would do is I would sit down for a second, close my eyes, and gather my thoughts. I would do this to stay calm and to think of a way out of this. If I could remember where I came from I would try to go back to where we left from in the first place (a car, a town, a house, or where ever). If I did not remember that I would probably try to climb a tree to see if I could see them. Also if I had a cell phone or a radio I would try to contact them through those. If all else failed I would scream at the top of my lungs to see if they could hear me. If not well then all these years of watching Survivor Man and Man Vs. Wild might pay off. I would probably brought some food because very rarely do I go hiking anywhere without food. I also always bring water with me when I hike. At this time the only thoughts that are going through my head are find my friends or find my way back to civilization alive. I would also be thinking of how to find more food and water and if necessary how to build a shelter to sleep in. I would probably feel frightened and scared but also probably a little excited because that might be a little fun for me because I like all that survival type of stuff.
